iPhone 3GS contract

Hi all,

Not really up on phones but was looking at getting this contract:

£34.26 a month (24 months) - £87 initial payment

16gb black
600 mins 500 texts
Unlimited Data & WiFi

Are there any phones that rival the iphone and its applications (and price!)?
Do you think it will still be one of the best out there in two years time?

The HD2 rivals it and is cheaper - I'm paying £35/month (18 months) for 900 mins, unlimited landlines, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. Handset was free.

What network is that with? a lot of the tarifs im finding for the HTC dont seem to include free web. Looking at getting a new phone at the beggining of the new year debating between the HTC HD2 or the Iphone 3gs.

The other one worth looking at is the HTC Hero. Got one myself last Thursday and it's a fantastic phone, absolutely loving it.

It's with T-Mobile, they have some rather good contracts going for it at the moment too:

The Combi 35 Megadeal for 18 months is very good.

I realise the iPhone may be superior in some aspects, but personally I don't think it's worth the massive price premium when you compare it to contracts like the one above.

Bear in mind that the 3Gs is 6 months old, and likely to be replaced in less than 6 months whereas the HD2 has only just come out too.
