Walking on Snow goes through me!

This might seem strange but whenever i walk on snow the sound/feel of the snow crunching/compacting just goes through me like nails on a chalkboard. I also get the exact same thing from the sound/feel of cotton wool. Am i a complete freak or does this have the same effect on anyone else?

I love walking on snow, its like a big comfy carpet that squishes down under your foot!
