A new way to play MW2 - MGS Style!

There's an invisibility perk? I haven't played MW2, that's why I ask.

I notice you both chose the sniper class. Is that really necessary? I have had some fun with ninja pro and cold blooded pro. Can't decide what to have on my primary, though... in addition to silencer. FMJ is good for shooting through walls, but kinda miss holo sight.

To clear up various questions -

1) The two important perks here are Cold-blooded and Ninja. The first makes you invisible to UAV, sentries, thermal and air support. The second makes you invisible to heartbeat sensors

2) People are choosing the sniper class presumably because it gives you the ghillie suit, and therefore awesome camo.

3) No, everyone can go prone....obviously that isn't an unlock

Lol, yeh soz I'm being a bit stupid... was comparing it to MW1... then realised you can go prone in MW1...

basically, is it still just a case of perks and weapon attachments you unlock as you progress, or is there another layer of achievements, allowing you to choose classes etc...

It's unlock mania....there are a large series of unlocks for each weapon, plus loads of new weapons to unlock, plus perks, plus upgraded perks, plus killstreak rewards, plus deathstreak rewards, plus banners and emblems (appear above your username).

Once you reach 70 you have the option of Prestige mode which essentially starts the MP game again from 0, but you get new rank badges telling everyone how much of a BMF you are and new class slots too.

a sniper class is being choosen because you are practically still when swapping weapons, however other classes move around a lot when you switch weapons destroying the illusion
