is there a perk to play dead or something?
As dead bodies never look like someone prone in anything but the most basic of shooters (more so since the advent of rag doll physics), legs are never in a slight y shape with arms tucked underneath them.

I suddenly support IW's removal of the console
how dare you!! Never do I or will I have support for the lack of console or dedi servers.
MW2 is fun and all, but the MP just feels not very good, almost half hearted and with the rod IW have made for themselves with the PC issues, it just makes it worse
If you turn off ragdolls, they all look the same I think. And if you swap weapons while prone it makes you look sort of dead, hard to tell unless you look directly at them
I thought the same, until you try it, yes it hardly looks convincing but it works 100%
People actually walk into you sometimes and bump off.
after you kill the same guy once or twice they wise upto it, you have to move.
Think about it when you walk into a room first thing you look for is guns pointing at you, then Claymores C4, last thing you worry about is a motionless guy on the floor without any weapon equipped. The fast weapon switching kinda suspends the animation in a zone where you are mid swap. I even did it with an AT4 on my back.
try it - im sure they will fix it but its funny as hell - obviously you need to be playing with some proper idiots too to help :O

But I do want to play stealthy multiplayer games more now.
yea I got the joke side of it, I wasn't being wholely serious myself
And +1 for the stealth multiplayer games, but decent ones are few and far between. I suppose the only one that springs to mind in recent times is Splinter Cell, which honestly, I hated. But an improvised stealth game like this, seems pretty darn fun
