There are quite a few that i like, but the stand out 3, at the moment are.
1 - A year ago i did a wedding which from the word of mouth from that one i got hired for this one. It went really well, and during the day of the wedding (after the first dance, when everyone was dancing to the band and mingling), I handed out my card to one of the friends of the bride which this photograph is printed on the back of the card.
To which she says "she hired you because of this shot you know" (pointing to the back of the card)
Dum dum dum! Although it doesn't say in the contract i have to get a shot like that (who would lol), neverthelesss it would be nice to give them something in the same vein eh? But where?
But i had a stroke of luck, they did one dance and I was in the right place and the right time and I pulled it off !
2 - This dress shot, a few reasons. One is that there is very minimal processing involved, it is how it was and I captured the way it was. Also, it was my idea to hang the dress on the window, so i am starting to practice what i visualise. I saw the window, saw the dress on the other side of the room and wanted a shot with light coming from behind the dress.
3 - My sister's wedding, had to nail the shots and I am glad I did, this is one of the favourite ones from the day.
4 - Riding shotgun on a American convertible muscle car and caught this moment when the driver puts his foot down. It is not perfect by any means as I would have loved to captured the groom's face in whole but I caught the bride's face at just the right moment.
5 - One of my favorite Black and White image I took this year.
