VERY special Cayman S

A sleeper by my definition is a car that looks slow, that is incredibly quick.

A 997 does not look slow, and is not regarded as being slow.
This tbh.

Not sure how anyone would look at a 997, or even most Porsches, and think "sleeper yo!"

How is a 997 ever going to be a sleeper?

Spot on.

Lovely Cayman though. Perfect.

Nice. :)

But a sleeper is something that don't look like a porsche but shows one a clean pair of heels.

I would imagine that is a fantastic little thing, though I think a Gen2 GT3 RS engine is the way to go, with full Manthey suspension and LSD. I've always said it but build one of these with the best GT3 bits and perhaps a PDK and I don't think a Turbo, GT3RS or GT-R would see where it went around the Ring. The foundations are so good all it's ever really needed was power and set up to make it a 911 killer in my book, which Porsche will never do of course.

Lovely.

Sleeper? No no no no. This is a sleeper. :p

your all right with the (sleeper ?) comment on a 650bhp 996/7 but if I was say on my bike and came across a plain looking one I would be pretty suprised when he opened the taps.

from storys I've heard, others in cars you'd expect to leave it for dead have been also been suprised...

it's a kinda supercar sleeper ;)

the orange cayman turbo is nothing but one though, couldn't get any more subtle NOT ;) ...I think I'd like the cayman to look stock, would be more fun seeing how people reacted when it disappeared into distance.

Given even a 997 Carrera 2S will do 0-60 in about 4.4 seconds I'd be interested in the sort of cars you'd come across would you expect to leave it 'for dead'?

Stunning. Apart from that ruddy vent in front of the bonnet which I cannot get over disliking immensely.
