The Official Football Manager 2010 Thread

I'm going to be cheeky and ask a favour here.

Can somebody who has the full facepack's, logos etc (about 3GB) kindly put them on disk for me? I'm currently stuck on 3G mobile broadband and to download this would cost over £15 and 3 would probably stop my download halfway through as usual.

I'd pay for the disk, packaging and postage and throw in a couple of quid on top of that. I'm just about to buy the full game (after recently getting back into the demo) and not having all logo's etc makes the game incomplete in my eyes!

Hope it's not too cheeky a request! :) I won't be needing it for a few weeks though.

I'm sure someone else will make an offer (you can't refuse! :p) but if you tell me what stuff you want bunged on a DVD I'm sure I can download it for you. :)

Thanks for that but I wouldn't expect anyone to download it for me. I just presumed someone may have it on disc that they could copy for me.

It's the full face packs, logo's, kit's for every club in every league worldwide. I'm pretty sure it's over 3GB in total. As I say, I don't expect anyone to download that for me! :)

Do you have a link, seen as I want all the facepacks/logos as it is.

I might want some of the graphics for myself. :) I don't use faces on my game but logos and kits for all clubs, leagues competitions would be nice. :cool:
 
There's this. I think this just has 50,000 player photo's, no kits, logo's etc.

If you go to 'Game add ons' at the top of the page, you can get kits, logo's from there.
 
Right i cant be botherd to start a 4th season with stoke. I have won the league and i will probably come 7th this year so i want a new challenge.

I want to use a team that has a bit of money but isnt the favourte for the the tittle. Basily im looking for a foreign version of Spurs.

Non prem only
 
Atletico Madrid? Valencia? Udinese? Fiorentina? Not sure how much money they all have but they're all teams who already have a few great young players and who could become champions after a little bit of transfer work.
 
Anyone encountering Array Access errors? Every time I go in to a game I get about 10 in a row and from there they occur on and off during the match. Its putting me off playing as I have to close about 30 just to continue with the game.

I've tried a re-install and nothing. The answers on google are also about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Anyone know of a fix?
 
I cant be bothered trawling through such a large thread, so:
Had anyone managed to develop a good tactic?
Preferably 4-1-2-1-2 ?

Im just faffing and experimenting at the moment with one im making but im getting mixed results. lol.

Have you added anything to the game like correct league names etc? SI split the game files from the actual program files itself. There may be something you've added, such as a custom db, that is causing this.

Nope, installed the game off Steam a few days ago and have been bearing the problem since then. Finally become fed up with it this evening!

Edit: Just sorted it! Searched about on the SI forums and was told to delete the cache file found in AppData --> Roaming --> Sports Interactive (its something like that). Worked a treat. Now to find some working tactics :p.

I haven't. This is my weakest point with FM. I just can't for the life of me develop a tactic. There's a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow tactic on SI Games but its so narrow it doesn't use wingers at all. So unless your wingers are ok at MC that tactic would be useless for you.
