bought myself a new case and installed all my components into it from my old one a few weeks ago and the PC would not boot regardless of how many different things i attempted to do to fix it, so i went and bought a Asus P5Q Pro Turbo and installed my components again and everything booted and worked for about 30 mins then the system just completly froze the sound stopped and the image just stayed on the screen this meant i had to hold the power button in to shut down.

I thought it couldve been the Ram so i replaced it with new ram and it worked for a little while then last night it froze and it hasn't been able to boot into windows and is freezing even in Bios which leads me to think it isnt getting enough power.

If someone who might have had this problem before or thinks they know whats wrong can post ASAP it would be appreciated as i want to get it fixed quickly.

Spec is in sig.

Sounds to me like its a different problem entirely. Build the PC outside the case.

It sounds more like a shorting issue tbh.

I would try what PhillyDee suggested and try each memory module individualy.

Can you try another psu or a different gpu, in terms of whats the psu you have will be fine.

yeah tried all suggested things to find the cause and still just at stage of freezing still but now its at bios going to drop it into a shop tomorrow see if they can if they can find the problem
