A challenge to find me a tumble dryer

local admag or similiar? I had an american dryer to match our top loading washer but when it died 3 years ago I couldn't afford £300+ to replace it so bought a Hoover from my buddy at empire direct. Knowing how poor Hoover are I expected it to last the years warranty but surprisingly it's not been touched except a new plug and it's still going strong.

Indish#t stuff should be avoided at all costs - as posts aboce that means no hotpoint / creda as well.

Go second hand.

Ignore all the nay sayers it's a tumble dryer which is ridiculously simple technology and any brand will generally last long enough for it to be no big deal to just get a new one when it dies.

I bought a £95 white knight from B&Q in September and it's brilliant. As long as you don't over-load it and vent correctly it'll do the job nicely.

My mum just got one of those yesterday after her second hand Hotpoint died after about 10 years of abuse, and god knows how many years from it's previous owner.
