French films

Tell No One - Fantastic movie and good take on the book. If you have a blu-ray players buy that version cos the blu-ray looks amazing.

Hidden, in fact any Haneke movie is worth tracking down. His new one White Ribbons (Shot in German) is one of the best movies of the year imo.

Other movies

Delicatessen
Gazon Maudit
Amelie
Three Colors
Belle De Jour

The Taxi movies are a good laugh but are no where near in the league of the above.

Also one that hasn't gotten a mention is La Haine. Fantastic movie.

Your French Movie Kung-Fu is strong! :D
Listen to this fella!

District 13 (Banlieue 13) is pretty good imo - mainly action so no real monologues of French but at a good speed to take in what there is. Also pretty cool if a tad predictable.
