BLOODY HATE THEM!

I drive a modest 2001 1.4 Seat Ibiza and the windows are constantly steamed up in the front and back window in this weather.

Its not bad on the normal every day roads but when im on a motorway i am literally putting the AC on every 10 minutes to clear them. Yea i could just leave the AC on but it gets bloody freezing.

Its horrible when its pitch dark and no lights on the M6 and you have steamed windows. I drove back from Manchester other day after footie and i was putting the AC one and off every 10 minues

HATE IT:mad::mad:

Get a moisture absorber thing and get all the water out of your car, obviously it has got in at somepoint.

You dont have the air re-circulating with in the car by any chance do you ?

My girlfriend could'nt work out why she had misted windows all the time and why she had frost inside her car last year until i noticed she was re-circulating the air inside the car all the time :D

No i havent. Its just a **** car!! :):)

Oh btw my heating is totaly naffed. Having it on a warm temp to get rid of mositure is just waaaaay to hot and for some reason when i turn it to off. Its still blowing hot air out. To turin it all the way off i have to switch it back to LOW and then off.

Then get it fixed or deal with it. You just need some sort of air blowing on the windows, cold or hot it will get rid of it.

Have you windows open for the last ten minutes of your journey to help circulate the air.

Though if it really is that bad i'd hazard a guess you have a leak somewhere

what i suggested with my girlfriend when she had way to much moisture in the car was to have the heat on for atleast 15 minutes before she knew she was going to stop, and then leave the hot air and moisture out of the car when she stopped. seemed to cure the problem of all the moisture in the car, that and not re-circulating the air all the time hehe :D

It needs to be set quite high for the warm setting in my car to clear steam. After 5 minutes of that heat its very un pleasant.

Get a small fan heater, place in car on hot, have the cable running through a window, but have the window open a tiny bit, just for electric cable to run out, then open a window the other side (sunroof would be better if you have one) and leave it on in the car for an hour or more. Move the heater around, having it heating the seats, or the floor, take out the mats for a night and see if you can keep them in the house to dry out.

I did this on the mondeo and clio not too long ago, and it made a huge difference.
