In work and 100% bored...

I'm bored. Got plenty on, one rather large project involving market analysis, but because there's hardly anyone here i've had my heaphones on and productivity has been high. I can afford to relax a bit as i'm ahead of schedule.

It's difficult though, i'd like to just power through and finish it but since i do project requests, I only have work to do when somebody needs something done. Start of the year is usually prime time but it's unusually quiet this time.

Going to chip off at 3:30 today, so not long left.

The "corporate travel consultants" at my place are all on Holidays, so I had to book my flights/hotel for my next trip myself.

Don't see what all the fuss is about, I did it all in about 5 mins, including haggling for a DBSO.

but our prices are very competitive and we organise around the world trips/complex itineraries all the time for people who when doing themselves, would take a long time :)
 
I have to say I am quite bored. What's annoying is there are a few things I could be doing, in fact I want to get done. But because our suppliers are shut for the holiday's I cannot order things in that I need to do the work...

I asked my line manager before the xmas holiday's what I should I do to keep myself busy. He told me to watch the phone and answer it if it rings.. lol so far no phone calls.

I'm currently cleaning my desk at the moment :) and browsing ocuk ofc

I'm so glad I didn't have to work today.
Seeing how busy the shops are I would have probably walked out by now.

I was bored at work last night so decided to take a half hour dump, that was good.

I've got 2 excellent Sony HD camcorders that are unused but I told him we would need Adobe Premiere which he then bought.
January 5th is the day the Nurses come in so I need to know what I'm doing.
It is all basic stuff and I'm not going to be doing anything fancy.
Hopefully this will bring in more work for my department if I do a good job and what I've done already has impressed my colleagues.

Would be intrested to see/hear how it goes. My brother has done a few weddings but he uses some Cyberlink software, which is actually quite impressive

I would imagine that what I'm doing with Adobe Premiere could be done by the most basic of programmes.
I'm basically cutting up and adding a few titles because I don't need anything fancy.
I am tempted to turn a simple cleaning procedure on somebody's wound into a gore fest though.
My mate does weddings and he produces great results with Pinnacle.

Bugger Adobe Encore keeps crashing :(
