NATS/SHL Online test - Doesn't support Windows Vista/7

Hello all,

Could someone with any knowledge or experience with this test give me a hand please.

I have got an assessment day in Hampshire on 11/1/09 for the position of a Trainee ATC. Now, before I attend the event I need to complete an online test on the SHL website. I sat down tonight to complete it until it told me my operating system isn't supported. The newest supported OS is XP. Finding a computer with XP is going to be fairly tricky. I'm struggling to think of anyone I know that still uses it.

Has anyone got a suggestion as to what I can do? Is there a way around it?

VMware Player 3 with XP installed on it then :)

Free assuming you still have an XP license.

Have you tried running the app in compatibility mode?
 
Or maybe borrow a copy of XP and dual boot or install on a USB drive, though the above is of course preferable if you can get it to work.

Also try emailing sysadmin at whoever administers the program...there must be a contact / help address?

Doesn't work in compatibility mode unfortunately.

I may have an XP key on the bottom of an old broken laptop, hopefully I haven't thrown it away.

I've wrote an email to the company. Not sure how quick the response will be considering the time of year.
 
Strange, it's 'User Agent Switcher 0.7.2'.

You'll probably want to try one of the 'Internet Explorer' settings. You can use this site to check if it's all working. It should say Internet Explorer rather than Firefox when enabled etc.

I applied for this too, and have been invited to do the stage 1 tests at the assessment centre.

I also have to do the online test as well though, but am not sure what is actually involved in the online test, is this numerical and diagramming tests etc as well ?
