But come on Button gets an MBE. Hes won the championship ONCE, if you think thats worthy then its a joke.

Queen doesn't like him because of the whole multiple wives thing, and now that the world and his wife saying is he should be honoured it's making the Queen even less likely to.

I have no idea what an MBE is and I can't be bothered to look it up. Is it a title becasue the Queen liked you on the telly or something? Surely famous people are recognised enough without the Queens Pet award?

And when was our last World Champion before these 2? Damon Hill in 1996, not like they come around every year is it. How many championship challenging cars had Button driven before this year? Hamilton got chucked straight into one.

Button should be a better driver then and then maybe he would have got a better car before.

Did he not defend all the bent members of parliament who were caught fiddling their expenses?

No doubt a man with his wealth and wisdom thinks it’s OK that the high and mighty screw the system for all it’s worth?

It seems only right (to me) if none of the MPs got awards, no doubt just in case further revelations come to light then a man who openly supported them shouldn’t get one either. Of am I missing something?

Two possible reasons:

1. His wig ends up on the end of the queen's sword.

A lot of bands think they can play Status Quo but normally do a bad job.
Quo use more chords than Rush and dozens of different guitar tunings.
However it doesn't help when Quo themselves call an album 'In Search Of The 4th Chord' and the myth continues.

Button came third in the 2004 Drivers Championship behind the two Ferraris. The Ferrari was in a league of its own that year, so Button did as well as he could have been expect to.

Button beat Alonso in a Renault, Räikkönen in a McLaren and Montoya in a Williams that year.
