Wine tonight?

£220 F-ing pounds?! You're mental! I hate wine anyway so the price doesn't do it much justice for me. :p

Hope it's been looked after Spie. The g/f's parents have some ancient wine they inherited and most of it tastes like 4-star unfortunately, because it's not been kept cool enough or in the dark :(

The bottle of '94 something or other came out for the Christmas table and my stomach was turning just thinking about it :D

I don't have enough disposable income (or any earned income, I'm a student!) to justify such a purchase, though if I can afford it one day, I will try some really good wines like this. If I were to buy one now it'd be pretty irresponsible of me.

Enjoy it Spie.

that is rather a large quantity of beer tokens to spend on one bottle of red tbh....

should it be white and fizzy at that sort of price?

No you pleb. What is people's obsession with Champagne?

Well I would have a wine but I will be having a filter coffee at best but I am guaranteed abuse from inebriated members of the public.

Nightshift tonight.

owch, best of luck.

I'd love to try it, hell I'd love to be in a position to afford to splash out that much on a bottle of wine.

I have a couple of £8 bottles of Shiraz and I consider those pricey! :p

Wine reminds me of Jilly Goolden. Therefore wine = ARGH

JUST BLOODY DRINK IT AND SHUT UP!

Unfortunately, I'm not a playboy Billionaire unlike you Spie, so I'll probably pass. But thanks for the wine knowledge :)

None for me this year but I’ve got some fruit juice to compensate. :(

Cheers, enjoy your wine Spie et al. :)

Just out of curiousity - how much has that wine gone up in price since it was initially released.

If you were to spend £220 on it now - would it be worth £700 in 10 years time ?
