Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I only JUST found out that you can view character win rates by pressing LB/RB on the character record screen! :o

No interesting patterns or anything there though - except that the character i've fought least is Rufus.
 
Just bought this for PC on the Steam deal. Has anyone got a PS3 SE stick working on PC?

I've tried just plugging it in to no avail and can't seem to find any drivers.
 
Not sure about the SE stick mate, did you try googling for the problem? I know the TE stick works no probs though, cant see why the SE shouldnt work either.

Its meant to be much better and a fair few PS3 SF4 OcUKers have moved to the PC version. Im getting it myself :)

Yeah been googling and aparently some issues arise when you're using a nVidia chipset, but I'm on intel (I think, I am running bootcamp on a 24" iMac though) so in theory it should work. I use my PS3 pad quite regularly on here so can't see there being too much of a difference.

I'll have to give it a better look tomorrow as I'm off to a party in a bit.

Is it?

There are issues with 1 frame inputs on the PC version due to other apps taking up varying CPU usage.

You also have the opponents framerate variability as well as latency affecting online play.

Well worth buying for that price, but it is definitely inferior in some key areas to console play, ignoring the graphics.

Edit: ignore me, yes it's far better than the PS3 online.
 
I've been out of the SF4 PC scene for afew weeks now, but from tomorrow I'm back to my usual routine so intend to be back online for some SF action.

To play me when I'm at my gf's mothers' house and only have my laptop with me... like now :p

You can reset your GP anyway can't you just by deleting part of your save data. I accidentally did it once when trying to transfer my save to my memory card, I only copied one part of the save and my GP reset >_<

I doubt I will be able to connect to Artheas or Cavallino, but if anyone else *cough*Margaret*cough* is up for afew, let me know. Been ages since I played! :D

Are you able to play again Margaret? I.e. is the problem you've been experiencing only limited to the connection with me or Arth?

It works with Artheas if he changes his router, strangely. Just had a good 20 odd game session with him now, my first in ages, was good. :)

I haven't tried connecting with Margaret yet, just added him to my list earlier, hopefully there shouldn't be any problem. I can connect with Kreeeee fine. I really dunno what the problem is, I did check through my router settings with Artheas ages ago and everything seemed to be as it should. :confused:
