Getting the bug...

This is a building that I love the look of (and it's sad to see it how it is now, when I were a lad...). However I can't seem to get a nice pic of it, I've only spent 10mins or so down there so I guess I need to get off my arse and try harder! (If the wife'll let me! :D ). Just shows though how this photography malarky gets under your skin.

A couple of the docks while I was there. I need a nice afternoon to have a walkabout. These were all taken from the new Sainsburys before I did the shop!!!



 
As said before in the post your picture thread, some an ND filter will be useful for a shot like this. Movement in the sky gives a very epic feel to something like this. I personally would try and get to the compound and shoot the widest you can? 24mm from the bank of the river on the subject's side might work (guessing here as I can't see what might be in the way, I'm guessing a fence?)
