No idea why it showed the price on dollars, I didn't notice. The previous deals were in £, I refreshed as soon as the timer hit 0 and it must have loaded it as $, I just refreshed the page again and its now showing as £. So it must have been some sort of error their end.

The id complete pack still seems a better deal now than the Doom pack. Was even better when it was on offer glad I got it then.
Tempted by sam and max and mass effect.
Already have mass effect but a second copy on steam would be good for that price, plus could give away my old boxed copies to friends and family.
Anyone else being buying the games even though they already have copies boxed? Checked who much I've spent in these sales and it's a good £80 but I've nearly doubled my number of steam games and I've got loads of games I wanted to get at some point to.

think i'll give Mass Effect a go at that price, and Outrun: Coast 2 Coast for £1.24 too
will be picking up Mass Effect for that price.
Bought it for Xbox ages ago and just didnt feel right playing an RPG with a pad, think i only played for 20 mins before it went back on shelf and hasn't been played since.

red lynx looks worth a shot, and can't argue that sam and max is an amazing price but don't think it's my type of game
i'm dissapointed to see Doom, Mass Effect and Portal up there. i prefer when the deals reveal some great indie/overlooked games at great prices, much like shattered horizons yesterday, not stuff that has been out and got stale already.

Hmm, have trials already. Might get Mass Effect. Played it through on 360 but sold it on for £20 a few months ago.
Same problem here. I picked it up on Steam for £6ish last month and, having done a PC upgrade and got rid of most of the sound glitches (its a v poor conversion IMO), I am absolutely loving it.
It is a struggle for the first 4-5 hours and the control system isnt perfect, but once the story grabs you its like a real interactive movie... I've just had to make major choices resulting in 2 deaths that I didnt see coming and I've got to say its awesome.
