Should be on motors really?

Looks like im going to blackpool next month, ive never been there myself, im thinking about driving up there from south oxfordshire

can anyone recomend a safe place to park? or which ones to avoid?

and Happy new year
Thanks :)

I wouldn't say there were any car parks that could be considered safer than others. The cheapest is probably Talbot Rd Bus station car park. Not the ground floor one (thats expensive), you have to follow a bit of a one way system and then go up into the multi-storey, it's something like 80p for 2hrs. I've parked there a few times and never had any problems.

Thank you mate

There is one to the side of Talbot road bus station, just behind the Tache night club, it has a guard who watches over the car park all day, it is an open top area too. That's where i would park.

going for a walk up the piers in the morning, im meeting up with someone who lives in Lancaster

I'd personally rather meet in Lancaster!

Or park up at Clifton Retail Park,Clifton Road and walk or get a taxi to the sea front! :D - I spent the night there a while back (in my truck) and had no hassle at all :)

The last time i went up to Blackpool with the mates the pleasure beach turned out to be closed and to top it off we found out our hotel was filled with old people having a backgammon tournament :(

Depends on which pier, south pier you will find parking across the road down a side street for free and its just as safe as the rest of the parking in Blackpool, most of the carparks you pay to go in are like shopping malls for the robbers.

However there is one behind bonny street police station that tends to be really safe and close to the front aswell.
