Well I think I do enough miles to justify a diesel...no?

Want something on Par if not better than MY BMW..I don't want to Downgrade.


I could spec you a Mercedes E55 AMG or a Jaguar X-Type 2.2d Estate. Both are 'estates' both are 'motorway' but they are utterly different and wont suit the same person!

I don't think so much effort has ever been required in a "spec me" thread in order to get requirements from the OP, in some places you seem to be deliberately being obstinate.

In the same way you can't be bothered to help these people to help you, I can't be bothered to make a suggestion.

I do question the timing of this thread. It was mentioned today in the Man of Honour thread how nice it was that easyrider hadn't posted in motors lately, after he got all whingey about Fox being made a MOH. The obtuse replies and seemingly deliberate trolling in this thread make me think even more there was only one purpose in mind here.

Sorry to disappoint...I don't see how asking some more informed people in the motors section about an upgrade can be deemed as trolling.

I'm not so sure about that, seems on the surface a reasonable thing to do, ok, he could - as has been pointed out - have perhaps worded the thread better but I hardly think he's trolling Fox or anybody else.

Its little wonder people avoid Motors!!!
