Ready for 2010, a crop of movies shot back in 2008

So we had the Screen Writers Guild strike in 2007-2008 which delayed loads of films to begin with, then we find that them being held up again because they knew they wouldn't tread water when compared to the "oscar" movies.

Gran Torino had a quick turnaround +Invictus all depends

Yea but your average film takes a lot longer than a year to make.

Are you going to start complaining about Avatar because it was 14 years in the making? Saying that you're probably right, it did look really dated.

Whats the point? Do people not realize it usually takes longer than a year to shoot and edit a very good film?

Why would they care?, would Mrs SoccerMom (to use a crap americanism) care how long it took to develop her brand new family wagon?, would Master SpoiltBrat care how long it took to develop that streetgang game he's been playing while his parents are out on the lash?

In terms of relevance to current social climates, if that's the topic of the film, then I can see why it would be of interest in the news as it will effect the movie-goers interest. Daybreakers may have a stronger audience interest being released after Twilight as vampire flicks are seemingly fashionable at the moment.

:o

My point was the article was pointless crap.

Thanks for confirming that though.

Rofl!, brilliant. :)

[edit] While it looks like there was a fair bit of attitude behind that post of mine, I assure you none was intended, most wierd! :D [/edit]
