Stolen dogs, please help and spread the word

Hi everyone,

I know this is a shot in the dark, but at the moment anything is worth a go. 3 of my chihuahuas were stolen last night (3/01/10). These people knew what they were after, since they didn't touch anything else.

The Police have been over and will be making enquiries, however we aren't holding out much hope. These are all KC registered dogs, and are quality examples of the breed. Because of this it will be unusual if they are sold at a cheap price without KC paperwork. Please keep your eyes out for unusually cheap dogs, they could be ours!

Lucy is a blue female, 4.5lbs and 7 months old.
Chloe is a cream bitch, 4lb and 9 months old.
Charlie is a Sable dog, 3.5lb and 12 months old.

Please, look at the pictures and let us know if you see them. A reward will be given to anyone who can give information helping us find our dogs, we are extremely upset as you can imagine. :( My wife's practically inconsolable at the moment. :(

Are they chipped ?

Also, and I apologise for any suck eggs, have you checked local shelters and council pounds ? I ask because some people steal them, lose their nerve then get rid of them.
 
I'm so sorry, I wish you all the best with finding them. Maybe worth looking on the internet seeing if they're advertised? We bought one of our dogs from Preloved.

We're based in the Midlands, Walsall to be precise, though it's likely they'll be palmed off somewhere else in the country. Sadly they weren't chipped (I know!:() so there's little come back on that front.

We've put adverts up on some of the sites like Preloved and some of the other dog places, will look into Reddit, thanks.
 
Who the **** enters someones property just to steal a dog? You can't have anything can you?

I'm presuming you breed them? If so it might be worth persuing any recent visitors?
 
thats really really sad. I'm currently living in Walsall, Sutton Road to be exact. shall keep an eye out for you, will spread the word to my friends and colleagues here too.

We do breed now and then yes and do have pups currently available. It's crossed our mind that this was exactly how they scoped the place out, and we'll be handing over details to the Police later today.

Been on the phone to the local radio station, they have a phone in show at mid day so the wife is going to try and gather herself together and phone up. Will be calling the local paper shortly too.
 
one of my family works for west mids police, i'll drop them a text now.
