Most Disappointing Game Of 2009

Dragon Rising! even went to asda at 12am in the morning and played it the next day without friends over co-op its total fail
 
MW2 SP is worth alone £20, I don't get people vote it the worst game of the year where it's probably going to be the game of the year everywhere it seems,

My vote goes to Aion - I regret now spending so much time getting to lvl 50 :(

I dont think many are saying its the worse game this year, more like most dissapointing (see thread title) and i agree its a bit of dissapointment though. Oh BTW Uncharted 2 is getting GOTY in most places.
 
Skate 2 for me, the original Skate was one of my favorite games of the last few years but EA managed to **** up the squeal in ways they only know how.
 
Most disappointing game of 2009 for me was definitely Modern Warfare 2. It's not a bad game, just not what I was expecting (rightly or wrongly).

Has MW2 got any overall GOTY awards? Not seen any, but havent really actively been looking...

IMO out of all the big games/sequels out this year it been the worst by a fair margin - only Spec Ops makes it even worthwhile...

Farcry 2 was october 2008. but never have i felt so robbed of money in my 16 odd years of gaming. just thought i'd mention that.


as for 2009 though, i felt Birds of prey could have been better! and hawx!
 
Fifa 10.

EA managed to ruin it from the hype they built up about it, and now they forget about any more patches for what is an awfully broken game because they will be pushing the world cup game.

As far as MW2 goes, maybe I didn't get hyped up like many other people to then be so disappointed with it, it's just like MW but with more added to it, which is just what I wanted.
 
SF4 and MW2 for me - I am still enjoying MP but Treyarch raised the game with Zombies and limb dismemberment - MW2 feels like a sanitised vanilla effort to me.

SF4 was just impossible with the crap d-pad and i aint buying custom joypads or sticks to play a game...
