A few friends were in Dubai for the motor show. Typical Arab / Middle-East styling, loud and brash! Although some of them are simply WANT!

Images remind me of Yusef from The Ballard of Gay Tony. I was just wating for a gold painted exotic thing.

I've seen better at a Max Power show. This is just tasteless IMO. This is definitely a case of OEM = best.
 
3rd pic with the blue 4 door, what car is it? An XF? or is it an AM of some sort?

EDIT: I take the AM thing back, no way can it be an AM. :)

I can sort of see why they do it, they are all trying to look individual and not blend in with the rich masses who all have a shed full of supercars, but to me it now looks they have developed the British 'keep up with the Jones' disease which seems to jump all taste boundaries in order to leapfrog their neighbours Al-Abar-Jones.
 
I was there 2 weeks ago, took loads of pics, might upload them later, definitely a great motorshow, we were playing PES on a PS3 at the Havoline stand, an Arab comes up and says, "whichever of you wins, you get a prize", seeing as I suck, my cousin walked away with a Sony digital camera :eek:

Awesome cars, Matt Grey BMW M3, Carbon Fibre Veyron and DBS, Aston One-77, No 458 Italia :( Veyron special editions, no one was allowed on the stand there weren't even models at the Bugatti stand, but an Arab just strolled on and said 'I'll have the black one' LOL

Oh an a Lexus 4x4 being covered in gold leaf....
