LOL fail, what a day :p

Hopefully they will want to set a very large target as the pitch seems to have died right down, if we can get some wickets in the opening session and restrict them to another 150 runs by say, lunch (480 target), then I'd hope we can pull off another immensely annoying Cardiff/Centurion-esque draw :p

What a disastrous day it’s been, SA have pressed on and at close of play are 312-2 (80 overs) now 330 ahead:

Prince lbw b Swann 15
Smith not out 162
Amla c Cook b Swann 95
Kallis not out 20
Extras 20

Swann 104-2

With two days to go this one looks lost.

Second test: Australia vs Pakistan. Australia wins by 36 runs.

How the hell did you manage that ?? Werent you 287/8 or something like that yesterday and yet managed to make 381 and then managed to bowl the Pakistanis out. Damn good going

Smith c Collingwood b Onions 183
Amla c Cook b Swann 95
Kallis not out 35
de Villiers not out 0

SA now 366 ahead.

Looked like a no ball too. Much as it pains me to say it that was a class innings from Smith and should put SA in a match winning position.

Or in short - LOLPakistan - they could even teach England a thing or two about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory :p

Only watched the first session before going to bed last night but it looked like very poor captaincy from Mohammad Yousuf just setting defensive fields and not beleiving he was ever going to take the last two wickets. They just let Hussey and Siddle accumulate runs under hardly any pressure to the extent that by lunch the commentators were quite confidently talking about AUS turning the match on its head and winning.
