United Publications seem to have a few decent boxsets that are in their sale like Shana and Ah My Goddess Season 1 for around the £20 mark. Had a look to see if amazon had any decent bargains and i bought the Noein boxset for £14 which i didnt think was bad at all.

Those bargin sets on UP aren't sale items ... that's there normal price (they've been listed on there for about a month and a half ish (I mentioned them a few pages ago)

There are a huge number of cheap sets in R1 and R2UK at the moment, at least in part due to the number of rerelease/thin pack sets and stock clearance offers (I'm struggling to hold back on various sets at the moment as I've over spent due to computer problems).
I'm actually hoping at least one R1 order i've got is delayed/has the last item (a pre-order) come in if not late, then at least on time rather than early*
I finally made a start on Coyote Ragtime earlier, and watched it in a single session, it was quite good fun, although I kept being reminded of Tenchi Muyo GXP for some reason (one of the characters looked almost exactly the same as the "aunty" in GXP), the 12 sisters were both cute and a little frightening at the same time
Just starting on Sakura Wars now

I came home from being away over Christmas and New Year today and found that my YUA S2p2 had been delivered from UP (not unexpected) ... but also my Bamboo Blade Pt1 + Spice and Wolf shipment from TRSI which didn't ship until the 22nd so I wasn't really expecting for another week or so ... hopefully Bamboo Blade Pt2 comes quite quickly as that's shipped now too ... I was expecting any of these original until the middle of January so there goes my cash flow
Amazon have refunded on FMP:TSR Blu-ray as it's late (and sent a replacement) ... so I may be able to get something else too .... am tempt by Ergo Proxy from UP for £18
These cheaper cour long sets are great in some ways but argh! Have to see what new licenses Funi announce next week

IIRC the manga goes on a long way past S2, with a lot of story arcs that have never been animated yet

I ended up ordering it, the second Eureka 7 set, and the Alien nine set last night.
Now i've just got to try and clear the backlog by then, at the moment it's disks 4/5 of Sakura Wars, 5/6 of Gurren, all of Rayearth TV, and Dokoro (and soon to have that Clannad order as well)

Not yet, but that's purely because UP don't have it listed for ordering yet ... once they do
Current back log is the rest of YUAS2 pt2, Blue Drop, Honey and Clover pt1, Tear to Tiara pt1, Special A pt1, Spice and Wolf and Bamboo Blade pt1 ... on top of that I'm expecting Bamboo Blade pt2, Hidamari Sketch, Genshiken 2 vol 3 and Ah My Buddha 6 in the next week or so (plus FMP:TSR Blu-ray at some point)
Plus I have some non-anime to watch will take up much of the weekend so the above will probably last me several weeks of normal watching at least.
I also should be picking up some pt2's to the above dependent on how I feel about the pt1's (oh and I picked up the Ergo Proxy special from UP earlier).
Btw, if anyone wants to try You're Under Arrest then UP appear to have the OVAs (which if I remember equates to the first four episodes of series 1) on special for £3.
Wish i had known you was after `Alien Nine`mate i got a sealed set here you could have had,also the manga is FAR better/complete than the Animé (the animé is just a chapter as it were of the series)
I liked the Animé so much that i tracked down all the manga (That does not happen very often
)

I see Manga (UK) have Summer Wars for R2UK release on DVD and Blu-ray.
Some of the staff on the film worked on The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and it looks like it could be quite good.

Speaking of films, still waiting patiently for the release of the 5cm/s re-release.
re-watching toradora atm, never gets old aswell as working my way through noein which actually seems to make a bit more sense this time round lol. Really unique style to it.

I have tons of manga novels, FullMetal Alchemist being my favourite... I know but it pleases me.
