Stolen dogs, please help and spread the word

I'm hearing more and more of this pedigree dog theft. I'm wondering who in the hell are buying stolen dogs, ffs spend £1000 and you can have your pick of most breeds out there.

Just like to remind would be thieves. If you nick my dog, get in your bunker ASAP, medieval torture would just be your starter.

has there been any luck yet?
joined the FB group last night, invited all my friends!

Bit of news, we found a bag in the garage which isn't ours - forensics want to have a look at it.

Local press have been, other papers coming when the weathers better. ITV news are looking at the Facebook page with interest and keeping an eye on it.

Sucks to hear about this :(

My gf's mum is always worried that someone will nick their Chion.

I hop you find them.

Ahh well at least its all taking off now. best of luck to you, Lowe. keep us posted!

Oh Lowe... really sorry to hear that man, I'll keep my eyes open to anything down here.

This is exactly why I won't leave my cocker tied up anywhere whilst I'm out, but I can't believe they came in to your home and took them man :(

I'm really saddened to hear this mate, my heart goes out to you and your family. We have a Chihuahua/Pomeranian cross and she is the most loving, faithful and adorable little thing you could ever wish for. If we ever lost her we would be totally heartbroken, really really hope somebody knows something and comes forward and these little ***** get strung up.
As for Ivan Drago, have you ever heard the saying "If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".
There's too much animosity and bad blood on these forums :(

I'm so heartbroken for you and the missus mate :( Truly awful, I can't think about that happening to either of our lil dogs.

Oh and Ivan Drago..
I would feel sympathetic about your suspension, but then I read you are a muppet.

There are some sad people out there mate. I hope you find your dogs - over 2000 on your FB group.

I have a friend who bought a few Chihuahuas from a place in Lincoln for his missus - only to find out that they were mistreated etc. The owners had previously been banned fom owning pets/breeding animals but continued to do it. Unfortunately the majority that bought them as puppies, had died. Luckily for my mate, they survived, his missus was a student and spent a lot of time with them.

Put up posters to raise awareness in the area. The thieves will have been local and not opportunistic. They obviously knew what they wanted so they must know you!

Happened to me when my Boxer was young: spent 14 days looking/appealing/putting up posters and contacting the local press; I even offered a reward ...... eventually got a phone call from someone who told me where they thought the dog was and after a while (long story short) I got her back.

I relate this as I know how it feels; it was the longest 14 days of my life! .... but I DID GET HER BACK.

As for the chip, I was told by the police that it made no difference whatsoever that she was registered to me in this sort of case (theft) ..... only useful for strays apparently.

All best wishes for a safe return like my case.

Seriously some people just make me sick. It's like when my sister recently had her baby and when I visited I wondered why all the doors were locked and you had to be checked in by some burly guy at the door - apparantly people steal babies from hospitals, it's all a bit "WTF??". I'm an avid dog lover, and had one of my own for 15 years and I loved him to bits. Got him for free and he wasn't exactly an expensive dog if I had of bought him, but if he got nicked I'd have been devastated. I really do hope you get them back.
