Just playing Dan online at the moment taunting people and baiting them, it's just hilarious with his English voice on.

His mini tiger knee has insane priority, love doing throws with him too and super taunting after finishing with his half arsed fireball.

His LK Tatsu is great in the air too, changes when and where he lands, and beats out most attacks.

HELP. just got this game for PC and i am RUBBIsh and i mean that!. I haven't won one online game in 13 attempts. All the people i play seem to have every good move locked down. I just dont understand how to fight and defend.Im always so open to be combo'd

Play championship matches, or ranked matches after searching by skill level, to get people at near the same lvl as you (mostly).

If you could record some vids of your gameplay, i'm sure people here would be happy to make suggestions

Or give info on who your char is, what the problems are, etc

Add the people in this thread dude. We all play quite regularly and most are pretty good, but people like me not so much.
We're all happy to play each other and this thread is a goldmine of useful SF stuff.

Been trying some HDR on the PS3 today.
Bought it when it was released and never used it!!!

Man, it's nails, but good fun.

Don't get me wrong, I know the 'cool' and 'hardcore' thing is not to like SF4, but it's still my main game, just figure a change is as good as a rest

I still prefer IV, I can't stand how the game slows down when people get hit by projectiles. I know it was to keep the feel of II but it's just annoying and feels dated.

There's a valid reason behind the hatred of SFIV, which you'll probably come to understand it as you play HDR, Blazblue and Tekken more.

Lol, this game is brutally strict on execution....

I guess the reason the 'hardcore' players prefer it is that it's not so noob friendly, and that's great, but a good player will always beat a 'lucky' noob or a move spammer.

Still have to admit, I'm very much enjoying HDR at the moment, if we can get 4 or more in a lobby should be a good giggle

HDR is quite lenient actually, but SFIV is just a joke

You can't mash or do random crap in HDR without getting smashed hard for it, there are no random DP fadc and then see if your random move hit to do an ultra.

You have to earn supers too rather than get them given to you for losing, and you can play HDR aggressively and at a much faster pace.

Anyway, there's not much point in me ranting as people will (and rightly so) enjoy whatever they enjoy. Although if your want to get above average you HAVE to play SFIV offline, but in HDR you can get very, very good online due to the GGPO style netcode.
