I swear I read an article somewhere that the 135i was tested by some magazines and actually did 0-60 in under 5 seconds...

I absolutely hate Autocar, and never believe what they say, but I'm sure it will be a special vehicle and worth it over a 135i

Yeah, I've seen videos of apparently standard 335i's do 0-62 quicker than the BMW times, all depends on the car, conditions and driver really.

I can't see them adding an M model that's not really that much quicker than a model thats already selling poorly.

Saw a number of M1s racing in the historic event at the Le Mans series at Silverstone last year.

You will indeed have a sex wee, absolutely epic sounding cars.
 
Seems far too much money to me for a 1 series, regardless of the power output. But then I also think new 135is are too expensive for what they are.
 
Never disliked the 1 series. 350 ponies through the back wheels is going to make it a dangerous weapon :D

Nah, not seeing it myself. Quick I'm sure, fun too probably but I want to see a big M on the lump and they can take the turbo off it too and raise the rev limit to 8000rpm when they are at it. I know, times change, but I feel it's just moving more towards RS Audi than M BMW and that is BAD. BUT, let's have a go and then give an informed view but sum of the parts makes me not want.
 
Not all RS Audi though surely, the RS5 is an untouched V8 with an 8250rpm redline! Sounds sweet too.

IMO a far prettier (in the most manly meaty way possible) car than any recent ///M coupe.
