So Ive got a account with http://www.thenottingham.com from when i was a kid Ive got around £3000 in it. Does anyone know if i go into there branch near me tomorrow how much ill be able to withdraw there and then in cash ?

I think you can withdrawl it all if your have proof of ID with you.

I think some branches would want you to call a head to warn them. But 3K is not that much so can't see why they wouldnt.

It will be shockingly easy to take out. I did the same myself a few years back and all I needed was my driving licence and a letter from my address. Could have easily used a fake id and typed a fake letter up given the 2 second glance the girl gave them.

Robbing a bank wouldn't be so hard....

with my bank i usually have to write them a cheque for the amount i wish to withdraw. if over £1,000 ofcourse

OP, just take plenty of proof of ID. Try searching for a passbook first though?
