Looking at new contract have a choice of both Orange and Voda both offering the same minutes/text for £30 .

Used to use Orange in the past never used Voda

Out of the two networks which is better for data on the go?

Coverage at work and home is both good on both networks

Vodaphone have bad service, Orange have bad coverage. O2.

Funnily enough i think you will find O2 have been deemed the worst 3G network out of Voda, Orange and Tmobile...think it was ofcomm or some important body that stated that O2's network is in dire straits at the moment with no investment being done.

But its swings and roundabouts really...one person will say O2 is great and another will say Orange/Voda or Tmobile are better etc etc.

OP both voda and orange have 500mb limits on their data packages...id go with whoever gives u the best deal in all honesty.

Vodafone just have **** customer service :p

iirc Spawn is right, O2 did have the worst coverage for 3G

I never said 3G

Never had a problem with Vodafone in 12 years and Customer Services have been the best in class for me, but again you'll only ever hear about the bad experiences.

Cetainly no worse than Orange but either of them will be a damn sight better than the travesty that is O2 currently and I was glad to see the back of them on my business contract last November.

I think both Voda and Orange have the best 3G coverage out of all the networks and Orange's coverage is about to increase with its pending merger with T-Mobile.

The only thing that would put me off Orange is them horrible software branding that they lace some of their phones with. (eg Omnia I8910i) I know Vodafone are guilty of this as well but its not as bad as Orange's take on it.

Just pick who ever has the best deal to suit you fella..
