Is there anyway to watch a movie like Avatar (using the glasses I got from the film) in my own home via a pc?

I think the question is how does the avatar 3d work?

Won't work in the same way it does in the cinema. The cinema uses special cameras to projector the image. You will need a 3D capable screen to view it on.

The only way your average run of the mill monitor can do 3D is via the coloured glasses (which you can try with nVidia 3D Vision Discover and the appropriate colour glasses).

lol, nope to the download - wouldnt waste my bandwidth, just saw it in the cinema with the gf on wednesday and have 2 sets of specs that I thought may be useful for something other than making me look a nurd!

If you saw it in cineworld take them to your next 3d movie that you see there and you'll save about 80p

didnt know that - will save them. I also have an old pair of elsa revalator wireless glasses in the drawer - wonder if I can make them work again - they were quite good and could be used with any screen (although crt was better than lcd)

anyone else use or got the elsa glasses to work? Everything I have read says it wont work with the new drivers but I am sure I have had these going before with my 8800GTX, cant remember how I did it though!
