Burj Dubai Base jump - Crazy

Thing is, the higher the building is, the safer it is to do a base jump from. More time to deploy the parachute.

Off topic, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the thing is over half a mile high.
 
Am I the only one not feeling quite as impressed when people base jump off 'Tallest building', it's essentially on par as jumping off a low flying plane at around 700m. Not quite as impressive as if people jump off shorter buildings (like the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth). Tall but don't look quite as tall enough for safe base jumping!
