Hi all,

Need to get an external Hard Drive to back up HD Video Footage (I have fast drive to edit off)

It is going to be used purely for storage

What case should i get for it - it needs to External and is for my MAC so firewire 800 would be nice!

can't find anythign with firewire

, only USB or e-sata

looks like those hard drives are sold out... very annoying - wish i had seen that earlier!!

not sure whether to get 1.5TB internal Hard Drive with USB caddy - or just buy a ready build External...

what are the benefits of using an internal / caddy vs pre-built External Hard Drive?

oh yea, miss read it - thought that they had sold out and werent shipping till thursday

what caddy would you guys reccomend for this drive?

All the caddies seem to be usb or esata but I have looked before for firewire and found none. I have a usb akasa one here. Does the job nicely although not the quickest.
