vote for us, or them. it matters not we are the same.

This is not a politic thread, it is just my point of view as an angry voter with NO choice.

Who is in charge of the labour party?

And Cameron who?

What is/are the differences?

Basically,

Labour = big government and believe a huge public sector is the way forward.

Tories = less government and we'll do this and that if we win power.

I wouldn't worry about it. Not much will change that needs to change and if it does, something else will have us moaning.

Anyone running this country has to recognise the problems and fix them, but that either means lieing about it or compromising something else important. A never ending circle of modern society really.

No offence or nuffink moremoney but your threads are as dithering as the current Government, THE COUNTRY NEEDS A CHANGE, etc.

The truth is that we're as far away from being spoilt for choice as is possible.

I have to say though, the idea of Cameron being our prime minister makes me feel physically ill. That paired with the fact they may not win an overall majority and therefore would form a coalition with the Liberal Democrats makes me feel even more nauseous as I have a passionate dislike for Nick Clegg as well.

The problem is that the population (collectively) are idiots, and politics is based on the fallacy that if lots of people think something, it must be true/a good idea...

Can you elaberate more and make that relavent to the thread (or me?)?

:p

We have the political parties and politicans we deserve as a country, and policies that make no sense because those are what we demand.

Unfortunately until we get protection from the idiocy of the mob, this isn't going to change. No-one is going to propose significant, needed reforms because they will not be popular...

Tories = less government and we'll do this and that if we win power.

Will they actually stick to this though and where will it be applied? I wasn't around for Thatcher's Government and I was too young to remember any of Major's so I have no idea.

I know of the benefits of smaller government in some areas but I don't really trust Cameron to actually make Government smaller apart from the inevitable public sector cuts.

Will help England out in the long run...

I agree. England might get more national identity which is lacking. e.g. New years celebrations in London with a Scottish song sung by an American.

As Dolph said, the population (collectively) are idiots. Look at the amount of people who by the Sun. Tabloid trash influencing the masses.

Socialism, Communism, Libertarianism, Divorce...either way the UK needs to change.
