FIRST Picture of GF100 @ CES 2010

While I'm not disagreeing about it being fake...

I find it a little hilarious that people are hung up on the screws... its not like its a retail card... prototype, development models, etc. are often stuck together in funny ways - often so you can quickly "pop the hood" to show off the internals or to test/tweak something.

Try SLI.

Sadly though, even Nvidia themselves cant stomach a TRI SLI system. The last card made it to CES. :D

These are the 285's being passed off as fermi's, and theres another pic floating about somewhere. :p

Not really sure why people are that bothered by a picture in any case, until you get actual reviews it counts for nothing.

The thing I find most worrying is the cost to nVidia to manufacture these cards and what they'll have to sell them for to be competitive.

A core that has a TDP of 225W isn't going to be small or cheap to fab. And if it's not competitive, they're going to have to slash prices to keep ATI from shutting out all but the extreme top-end.

So how do we reckon they did that one then? Dx10 mode? Or maybe they used a 5870 pmsl.

Well you can clearly see another motherboard to the top of the picture.

There's a chance that it's running from that PC, especially considering the fact that the fan looks like it's still despite the possibility of it just appearing that way due to the camera shutter speed.
