I can't but feel it is more and more a case of 'Who do you not want in Government'.

I will be voting for the only party in my area who have said what they plan to achieve, rather than others who insist on spending their time in the spotlight bad mouthing other parties.

Do not vote Lib Dem. They will not push nuclear power forward if they get in, they will reverse it. They don't have a bloody clue. This country needs nuclear power.

Born and bred Aussie who is permanently resident down under, and only British through marriage is a bit different but anyway I withdraw the comment because it's not needed :)

Ah, that's where you're wrong mate.

I'm a born and bred Aussie who is permanently resident down under and British because my father was born and bred English and only emigrated to Australia in the 60s, which is why the Home Office kindly gave me a British passport when I politely asked for one.

It has nothing to do with my wife; I didn't become a British citizen by marrying her. I was already a British citizen by descent.

BNP for me, would normally be conservative but they along with the libdems/greens witter on about eco nonsense which just irritates me.
The BNP have the most policies which I agree with. Does that make me a neo nazi fascist/racist? I dont think it does, I just want what's best for this awful country.

thats raysist

Conservative, sooner labour is out the better.

Conservative = best of a bad bunch
Lib dem = have some decent policys but to much stuff I am against
Green party = would wreck the economy and take us back to the dark ages
BNP = racist and have no decent policys
UKIP = again have no decent policys

Also voting should be mandatory like in Australia although have an abstain box on the paper.

I will vote Green Party just because I like their website some of their ideas and because they have no chance :) plus I wouldn't vote for any of the others.

I can't understand why people don't bother to vote. And their excuses for not voting are just ridiculous! "My single vote won't make any difference" etc...

ROTFLMAO.

She did more for this country than you'll ever do. Most of which has been undone by Labour and Brussels.

Lets all point at the lefty.

How did she do much for this country, privatising everything in sight, increasing unemployment and causing a huge miners strike for no real reason.
I don't think it's ok to **** all over the poor man, personally.

Really puts the con in conservative. Traditionalist righty, go read the daily mail and vote for your rich mans party.

lol, well I am pretty glad I never watch Dr Who know when it had a complete nob jockey as an actor...

Dr Plonker said:
I would rather have a prime minister who is the cleverest person in the room, than a prime minister who looks good in a suit.

lol, if Brown is clever, well... Im not sure I can post what I want to say...

Conservative - How on earth anybody can consider voting for Labour baffles the hell out of me. It must either by down to people mimicking their parents or the desire for more welfare payments.

Sure, all the mainstream parties are useless but the thought of another 4/5 years of Brown, Milliband et al makes me suicidal.

I'd like an option on the slip that says none of the above, to be able to put forward my view and also take out the BNP which i know manu many people will be voting for as a protest vote.

To stop that they need another option.

Right now I'm not sure, I will not vote tory or labour. In my life they have both been in power for multiple terms and left with nothing but resentment and a pile of ****.

Ideas? Like what?

Well granted it's a bit thin on the ground but I like their idea for increasing energy efficiency like free insulation, and the country needs a good look at how we use energy, no point in just pumping out more juice :) using it better is an honourable goal.

But like I say, it's not an ultra serious vote from me, just don't want to vote for any of the others.

As I live in N Ireland, we don't have most of those parties listed, however, as I wouldn't vote for any of the ones we do have, as the candidates are a pack of useless gits...and that is being polite!

When I was at college and lived in Bournemouth, I voted for the Conservative party...

How often does a politician lie...every time he/she opens their mouth!
