Hi all

Just set up my media centre! loving it all however, ive just tried playing the Learn more video and have found it to be VERY jerky.

My Hardware is

Abit Fatal1ty F-190D Motherboard
On-Board ATI 1250 xpress gfx - using hdmi connection
E6230 CPU clocked at the moment at 2.1ghz
4GB OCZ Gold edition PC6400C5 ram (5-5-5-18)
500GB Hdd

im running the latest ATI Catalyst drivers.

Any ideas at all and how i can make this run better?

Maybe codecs? Having not used Windows Media Centre i'm not sure, but the wrong or inadequete codecs can quite often cause stuttering, jerking or slowness.

could be the On-Board gfx card, or maybe a codec problem you can google Windows Media Center codecs and find some.

Try running the video through MPCHC and see if it runs any smoother. MPCHC has the ability to use hardware acceleration which should make a difference.
