I thought they'd given up on it but looks like Jan launch... and fingers crossed looks like they've fixed many of the niggles with the X1.

The X2 isn't a big enough step up from the X1 imo, plus the quality control on the X1 was abysmal.

The facebook app looked horrible, very slow. For a touchscreen he sent 90% of the time using the physical buttons...

Its not that bad, its much improved from when it first started. However, the phone is still pre production and improvments will happen.

I believe Vodafone should carry this phone, i am not too sure about any other networks.

IMO Its probably the best looking phone on the market at the moment.

SE have made massive speed improvement to Timescape and Mediascape interfaces, but i agree they have a little bit more tweaking to be done yet.

yeah, i'd rather the phone be a month late and the software to be perfect than for it to be an early buggy/laggy release.

It annoys me that the thing which starts to give andoid a bad name is when software written for it is laggy and slows the phone. This is where apple have the advantage of full control.

I suppose you can't have it both ways, but I hope they sort it out so it aint that bad to use.

Does anyone know the video recording specs for x10? is there any examples of it?

It looks like the phone is also going to be released android eclair (2.1), so its all looking good.

Ill see if i can find the specs.
