clothing for big people

M&S along with High and Mighty are where I have bought most of my clothing.....I'm on a diet now as finding trendy clothes when you're portly around the midsection is really hard and can be a little demoralising.

Not a brand as such but have you tried looking in Matalan? They've often got all sorts of weird and wonderful sizings.

Fubu might do clothes in sufficent sizes for you as well, probably have to import them from the US but a cousin's partner wears some of their stuff and he's not a small chap by any stretch.

Harsh but fair.
I'm 6'2" and used to weigh 21 stone 44 waist etc... Used to be a nightmare to get any decent clothes and when you went to pay for them you just knew the person serving you thought 'thanks for the business fatboy! do we need to open to fire escape for you?'.

Now im 15 stone and 36/38 waist or more so 38 after xmas!!!
Theres no bigger incentive to lose weight than to look good!

same here, a 44in was a complete bitch to get, most shops stopped at 42in. Now i am 34/36 and much easier and more comfortable.

Not trying to be a **** or anything but I'm currently a 36" waist (yes, I'm overweight by around a stone or 2) and 6 foot tall. I fail to see how people who are only 2" taller but have a bigger waist by around 8" only have 'big hips'? :s

And you're just a cockhead.

While i appreciate people come in all different shapes and sizes (i was a chubber in the past (38" waist at 17) when it boils down to it even if your a stocky bloke naturally 42" waist at 6'4" isn't healthy.

Anyhoo, have you thought about going to a tailor as they may be able to take some baggy unfashionable clothes in and give them more shape etc.

super try is tiny, im normally an xxl hoody in fox, animal etc, went to superdry yesterday and their xxl was so tiny and ridiculously short in the body, im 6ft"5 46inch chest and 38-40 waist I just want nice clothes lol!

Come on guys this is the internet. You can **** people off safely from behind the screen knowing there is nothing they can do!!!!!1 It makes them feel better about something that is obviously deeply effecting them but they are too scared!!!11 to solve !!! ! Internet psychiatrist!

yeah i have size 14 feet its a freaking nightmare, I don't think i have had a pair of shoes i truley liked for years, its more of a "what do you do in my size thing?"

Walktall get a lot of business from me :)

High And Mighty. That's where I buy most of my stuff, because it caters specifically to people who are taller/bigger than average.

Edit: and it's pretty much the only shop that seems to sell shoes bigger than size 13.

Hight and Mighty have gone in to Admin?

I used to get my shoes from there (size 14/15) I'm also 6ft 6, and getting tops that were long enough would always be difficult.
