It's sunday, 2pm. I'm slightly hungover, I think it's time for bacon.

Sunday hangover is just not the same if you don't throw bacon into the equation. All hail bacon. \o/
 
I'm not hungover and I'm having a sunday lunch of chicken kiev and chips :) - and my dad's a minister so it's a tad unusual for most people around here. No bacon though :(
 
Ah ha, I'm glad I've got people marching off for the wonder that is bacon!

iamdjdz, go get yourself bacon. I command thee. :p
 
Does anyone else use tongs to crisp up the fat on edges?

So as to not overcook the bacon (and turn it hard), I fry, then use tongs to pick it and hold the edges in the hot oil. Then a quick drain on kitchen paper.

Soft tender bacon, crunchy crispy bits on the edge. Beautiful in a thick sandwich.

I've not tried this but I may to day... Just maybe. :p
