Problem with Plex..

I installed Plex but when the movie starts, i have sound but not image?
Should i download any codec package?

What video format are you trying to play, it probably needs a codec.

avi is a container not a format.

if you install Perian you should be able to play most stuff.

Have you tried playing the movie with VLC first?
