meh I am so not buying an infinity ward game again... spent most of tonight just trying to get in a game... finally get in it lags out badly, drop, spend another 5 minutes of constantly rehitting find game/getting disconnected til finally find a game - within a minute its ruined by a game with aimbot going for nuke, disconnect, spend awhile looking for another game - after 30 seconds or so "server" timedout, repeat, next game is just overrun with people using carepakage to run extra fast - why the **** is that not patched yet its a 2 second job - drop find another game, have one good game then get dropped on the next map, repeat...

lol...

You have to be unbelievably stupid to put a game out in this state and then leave it without support this long.
 
personally the game plays better when you are playing with the pople you know on your team so when popel are aim botting you can personally pick on them and **** them off till they rage quit is what we do sly but works
 
I hate the lack of teamwork. I was in a dom game the other day and I capped the first two flags completly on my own. Not a single teammate even attempted to help. Then, once we lost the two and I saw that nobody was going to try and get them back, I just left.

Game play is considerably better when playing with my clan mates though. We don't wear our tags as people tend to get whiny about it, or even just leave. It's extra fun though when there are 6 of us and we get put into a lobby with another clan taking up the other 6 spots. Once we beat them, we let them think they were just beaten by a bunch of randoms rather than a clan.
 
I've pretty much had enough of this tonight. The end of the road for COD for me. What a great game they have had and they have utterly ruined it.

Hubris comes back to bite people in the backside eventually hope IW get their just rewards.

I'm outta here.
 
Got to be honest, seems to have gotten worse as of late. And it quite obvious it's not all skill related. Over Christmas I played a fair bit, now every couple of rounds I need a break.

I doubt it. Still seems pretty random to me. Some days are good, others not so much.

On Saturday, I couldn't find a single 'server' where I had green bars (with the 10 bar cfg fix). It's not my connection either as I have a ping of 20 on my clan's London based server. (24.5/1.3MB connection with fastpath enabled)
 
You're lucky. I've seen a lot of blatant ones (instant snap headshot aimbots) and a few who just seemed quite dodgy (crosshair following me through the wall even though I was using a full stealth class).

I find it best not to get all bent out of shape over it though. All games have people who use cheats. It's simple enough to just join another game.
 
I must admit I used to be like FFS at those Akimbo people, then I thought hell I'll try it. Boy do they damn rape. All I ever use now is the G18 Akimbo, all the fast running/infinite running stuff. How great is this for team games, the speed for capture the flag. My best kill streak on the PC was about 10 or something (I'm a very in your face player no camping and a FFA player normally!) Since getting the G18 akimbo I've got a 22 K/S which I am happy with.

I know people hate the match making but I think its great for someone like my gf. She wants a game, clicks a mode takes her to a game.

I could be spoilt by years of xbox gaming but I do like the match making system and have only come across maybe 1 or 2 people who I thought were a little dodgy. That said I miss the old clan servers. But its not bad I joined a clan the other day who are a good laugh and since then when playing with them we seem to win most our games.

Thats weird i would have thought you would be picked as a host all the time.
I refuse to play now unless either everyone has crap pings so its fair.. or 1 of the 3 of us that play together host - that guarantees us a decentish green (10 bar) UK ping :O
 
When me and my gf were playing the other night and she is on a laptop... Not a bad laptop not the best with a 10mb (Virgins lowest broadband) and she kept getting host. Great for me as I didn't lag at all and the Americans did! But strange I got a 50mb connection and an [email protected] and I didn't get host. -.-

:eek: You trying to say IWnets automatic selection of the best possible host isnt working or something!

I would have thought so too. Strangely, whenever there is a host migration, I'm almost always chosen as the host and then I remain the host until I either leave, or our lobby gets combined with another. I wish it would pick me as the host more often as almost everyone has 7-8 bars when I am.

What really confuses me is when everyone has a red bar except for the host, and then when it migrates host, it picks me. Why didn't it just pick me from the beginning.
 
I finally has some spare money to get a copy over the weekend.

I find the game so easy to play and also no spawn killing. What ****ed off the most is all the cheaters.
