If you are caught hacking yea.
If they think your hacking but no proof and they ban you from that one server it doesn't effect any other servers.
MBL = Master Ban List
When you are placed on the MBL for actually using a cheat all servers with streaming enabled talk to the MBL and it bans accordingly..

and a nice kick from his clan yeah unless its a ban by pb or demod hack of you on a screenshot taken youll be ok. loads of decent players get accused and unless theres proof of inncident then no bannage.
mbl stays forever aswell so your names, alias, even ips are stored on it
Thats incorrect,if you have a hw ban a new cd key will not save you,the only way out of it is to buy new hardware or spoof your hardware using a HW spoofer http://www.thekernelspoofer.com/ think Evenbalance may have shut this place down also),a new cd-key will save you from a guid ban not a HW ban,Evenbalance only issue HW bans for persistent offenders who use hacks even after there account has been reset(all stats zero),and yes if you buy second hand hardware that has been hw banned your pretty much fooked.
This is the normal procedure that evenbalance used to follow years back
1.GUID ban 3-5 times(new cd-key needed from Ebay etc)
2.Stats reset(can also be reset for stats padding)
3.HW ban(as nothing else seems to stop you from hacking and tampering with PB so they issue you the ULTIMATE Penalty for cheating)

yeah you can do,but the problem is nobody really knows what Evenbalance "Bans in your pc".tests have shown that the nic card and Hardrive need to be replaced,but there is more pieces of hardware that they ban that they will not reveal,your better off just selling you whole pc and buying a new one,its a harsh penalty for persistent offenders,there were mass banning in early 2006 but i did not hear of many people getting hw banned after that,i dont think they give them out easily as GUID bans but if you do get one(HW ban) then you probably would have to have been caught cheating many many times

if your caught by battleye/punkbuster/VAC you get banned from all anti-cheater enabled servers for that specific game.
I think your whole steam account gets VAC banned if you cheat on VAC games, resulting in not being able to play on VAC enabled servers like CSS, CS1.6, TF2, Dod:S Mw2

yeah thats true, thing is a lot of the hacks towards the end of bf2 say 2008ish even had screenshot cleaners!!Evenbalance are aware of this and im sure they will go a long way to keeping hackers out as they have the money and resources to keep pb well updated
Its a game of cat and mouse,between Evenbalance and Hackers,but i have a lot of confidence in PB this time around compared to 2005/06
Battleye is supposed to be the best anticheat detection,used in a lot of clan matches,thats what i heard but i dont know much about Battleye.

yes demod the guy then engaged in some banter to keep him on while got relevant details like guide and stuff . funny thing was i said youll be on the mbl later he said no i wont
say in cod just type in /pb_power and you get everyones guides
then you can check them . certain details you need to be a admin to access.
also in mixes check server see if streaming . not streaming just dont play as nine times out of ten there hacking and have been waitinng for nabs to turn up to practice on
to be honest if the server you play on isnt streaming just dont play on it as theres no point cause it will be a hackfest. its suprising how many actually do stream live
as for screenshot blockers and like xray did not bad job but the program is a bit of a nabbish prog. did like the screenshot thing of though if its black its a hack
