Just received an e-mail saying date has been pushed back... again... to the 12/1/10, but how often dates have been pushed back I'm fearing thats American dates and I'll have it nearing Christmas 2010 :rolleyes:
 
Yeah got that email also.
In a fit of madness I switched my order from a 5850 to a 5870 when the 5870 said 1-2 days and the 5850 said 4+ weeks. Now the estimates have been reversed aaaaaaa
 
I'm probably asking a question that has been asked many times before but why put yourself through all this pain when there are other brands of the same card available?
 
I'm not willing to pay the costs. I don't want to spend more than £200inc on a 5850, for the Asus (mainly due to warranty) I decided I'd take the plunge and add an extra few quid. I don't want to pay upwards of £220inc for a card though...
 
I ended up getting a Sapphire 5850 so I could do my build on the date I was planning to. Shame I couldn' get the asus though.

P.s. The sapphire arrived today :)
