I ran into an issue with paypal, where I owed them 178.99, this was dealt with a debt collector firm which worked with Paypal, and I've since paid them as of last thursday, and I felt that I was now able to open up a new account with paypal.
So, having opened up a new account and getting verified with paypal, I notice than my available balance within my bank is 10.00 less than it was earlier, I check a little later, it's now 12.50 less.
I rang my bank halifax ASAP, they've said that the money is being removed from Paypal and there's nothing they can do about it.
What do I do about this?, they've no reason to remove the money from my account.
Here's the paypal email conversation thus far, read bottom up.
You may be missing this, but there ISN'T any information about the transaction in my Paypal account, which means there isn't a transaction ID etc.
I can more than verifry I'm the owner of the paypal account and bank account in question.
Basically, increments of 2 pound 50 are being removed from my Halifax Bank account, this was confirmed after I rang up Halifax.
I wish to know why this money is becoming removed from my account, I can gladly give a screenshot of my Halifax account which shows 12.50 difference from my balance and my available balance (However there's no recent activity to show the actual transaction, just a loss in sum of money), I'll gladly show my paypal account which shows that there isn't any transaction being made.
It's just money being removed from my account. I want to know why, and for it to be returned to me, rightfully.
