Good price for the upgrade but does that mean you always have to install v10 then upgrade to v12 in the same way Windows works?

oh no. you're falling for their evil plan. just use the old version. free is a much better price. i can't really see the point in spending money on a defragger.
 
I used the free V10 on my works laptop and there was a noticable difference applications like Lotus Notes and Sametime were much improved with less lag when using them.

Might try the free V10 on win 7 at home as someone mentioned above it works.

I'm still using JKDefrag here, MyDefrag is virtually the same, the only noticeable difference being the addition of scripts to ease defragmenting for novices.

Thanks for O&O Defrag, I find it's background defragmentation option useful for server environments.
