Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

it's more fun to get the unlocks urself surely and the beta gives u 1 month extra gameplay for only £2!!

Meh, depends on how you get them i hate jumping through hoops for unlocks, if you just get them through natural progresion then fine but if its this specific bs like "get 500 headshots with the revolver to unlock xx weapon" then that gets a bit boring.

well ignoring whether it's fun or not, it's £2 for a month extra, worth? imo yes ;) Anyone know if name/unlocks/ranks/points will be transferred from beta to full game when released?

I really cant wait for BC2, COD was such a letdown they really dont deserve money for what they pulled.
Looking forward to some pitch black humour :D

Where does it say Beta access from EAstore, i ordered from there and cancelled yesterday becuase they told me no beta.

I would trust DICE more than random EA employees. News don't travel fast within EA and most of their customer support just reads what it says on their own site. The direct quote from DICE:

"How To Get Access: Reserve Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the most sure fire way, but we are still working with some other Retailers & e-Tailers that wish to participate. If you're eager to ensure you get in the two confirmed distributors to Pre-Order are the EA Store and at GameStop.com."

Awesome, a Q6600, HD5870 and 4GB should do it nicely then ! :)

I really can't see the game being that much of a resource hog given how it looks and is playing on consoles, ive really not seen any real hints of slowdown even in heavy action. Id imagine dx11 will make performance take a bit of a hit though.

going from the past, PB will probably be the main resource hog depending on how demanding the game is
