Logitech Customer Support

I Bought an MX3000? mouse and kb set about hmm 4 1/2 years ago. After a few years my mouse was dodgy charging and the thumb buttons stop working. Logitech in 2008 sent me a mx3200 desktop set. About 6 months after, the mouse right click was messed up. They sent me another. Had the same problem with that oddly, but they still send me another. Surprised they keep doing it, but hey gotta love em.

Id buy a logitech product just for the warranty and customer serice :)

Only read the OP..but my story...

My MX518 that I bought 2.5 years ago started randomly disconnecting and reconnecting, emailed Logitech, they said to email them copy of invoice which i did, and they sent me a brand new replacement, received within 2 days :)

Glad I saw this thread, have had my MX1000 about 5 years now, been a brilliant mouse, can't fault it in the slightest, but the battery life has (as it would) taken a real battering, called to explain and ask if there was anything they could do/suggest, cue them sending me a free MX 1100, as a replacement for a 5 year old, way out of warranty mouse!

Had never got round to contacting them as I assumed I'd just get fobbed off and told (and rightly so, really) to go buy a new one!

That's what they did to me when I asked if there was any chance of them supporting my webcam in Windows 7.

'No, look at our product to see ones that do work, kthxbye'

:(

Logitech wins, my laptop goes no where without my mx518.

Plus mx518s don't break, except the stupid rubber bits underneath! :(

Always use Logitech mice and trackballs. Not the keyboards though - I'm a Microsoft Natural keyboard person. Logitechs ergonomic keyboard aren't great.

Never had to contact Logitechs customer services, which is nice - but the response if I had to sounds great.

Out of curiousity what are Roccat's customer services like? It's in warranty.

I just had a Kone die on me, contacted Roccat via the support form on their site and had a reply from their Community Manager offering to send out a full replacement less than 24 hours later :D

Had some good experiences with Logitech CS in the past, they've replaced a DiNovo Edge Keyboard and Z10 speakers with no fuss in the past, although I did have to take pictures of both after taking a hammer to them :|

I've had my MX Revolution for 3 years this May (when warranty is due to run out).

I've had the common problem with the mouse 1 button double clicking when I click once, so I've emailed them about it, it's taken 2 emails from me and they've dispatched a replacement MX Revolution :) They haven't said anything about sending my old one back so let's wait and see.

If all goes to plan then great, it's customer service like this that will ensure I stay one of their customers for a long time.

I had this issue too, I had 2 MX revos, One RF one I bought from OcUK about 2 years ago now, and an MX 5500 Desktop (Bluetooth MX Revo and keyboard).

The MX5500 desktop set was giving me problems, the mouse was double clicking and triple clicking when I was single clicking and I was having connection problems.

The RF one had a knackered scroll wheel that wouldn't freespin and the rubber grip had basically fell off and the receiver was broken.

I got in touch with them over it and within a few days, they'd dispatched a brand new MX 5500 set and RF MX Revo, I just emailed them scans of my receipts, they didn't want the old ones back either.

So I ended up with 5 MX revo mice, 4 charging docks and 2 5500 keyboards. :D

Last night I stripped by two old MX revos (one BT and one RF) and bashed them together in to one fully working BT one, I replaced the internal mouse buttons from an old, but unused mouse.

I've now got 2 MX5500 keyboard sets that I've got working perfectly for both PCs and an RF MX revo for my laptop, and some internal spares for the fully working RF one. (long story  :p).

I've got a Logitech G7 but the charging station seems to have stopped working. whats the easiest way of contacting Logitech? Any links? Thanks!

Ring this number: +44 (0)203 024 81 59

Don't bother ringing any of their 08 numbers as all they do is divert you to this number.

What I also found was that their 08 numbers would "close" and divert you to answer phones while that direct number (london offices) would still go through and people would pick up.

Saying that, the london number just diverts you to what I assume is an American call centre (accents) and they seemed to be still picking up around 8PM.

I think their European customer support is actually based in South Africa judging by their signatures on the support forums

Glad I found this thread. My MX Revolution keeps double clicking after a single press and was about to go in the bin.

Have just sent a support request - fingers crossed they will be able to help out.

Good to see so many people having a great experience with their CS.

However, as others have said in the thread, it does also seem to point to their QC perhaps not being quite as top notch as it could be, specially seeing as most people seem to have the same problems.

Does make you wonder slightly if their business model includes lower QC and better CS.

Still things like mice really are high usage items so they are more likely to break. Either way it's still good to see a large corporation instigating genuinely good CS (for most) and proves that it can be done!

I bought a VX Revolution in May 2008, which was replaced because of the known mouse-wheel problem (the rubber would stretch, making it almost impossible to scroll properly). The replacement mouse developed a problem with the back button not working, unless a considerable amount of force was used, and they've just sent another one out to me! :D
Logitech CS really is far, far better than most.
