Hey guys...
....Finally after almost a year or re edits we got a cut we liked of our film we entered into the Edinburgh 48hr film festival.

Im posting on here to see what you guys think of the film and get some honest feedback.

I was laughing at the start then the last greenhouse scene was a bit errr but overall very good. Kinda odd little film but enjoyable and good camera work.

I felt a bit sick on the see saw after 30s lol :)

edit: yes girl was fit. i thought she would be the victim though
 
hhhmmm camera crew following a guy around dumping bodies and killing people for a documentary... rrriiigggghhhhtt.

Good try though, better than I could do :)

Agree. Not at all bad, as everyone as has said. The female was hot. :cool:
 
Thanks for the comments guys, glad some people like it.

The sound is extremely weak at points which is a major gripe for me. Also bear in-mind that this was shot and delivered in 48hrs, was really good fun.

Id defiantly recommend the competition to other film makers.

Oh yeah, they're really nice cameras. Do you not prefer cards to tape though? Tape is horrible in my experience.

I thought it was a good film, comedy is always hard to do (and I suck at it), maybe could have been a bit longer which isn't a bad thing.

Yer, shooting on P2 is extremely good, however you only get like 30 mins at 720p on 2 16gb cards (32gb) which is hardly ideal. Personally i would rather shot on tape. There maybe a small quality difference however that can be overlooked simply because after you wipe that P2 card all the footage is gone and if you havent backed it up all the footage is gone, its great having a physical copy.

Also yer it should have been longer but the time limit was 7 mins. The 48hr script was adapted from a longer script for a short' A CASUAL HIT' which was timed at 20 mins. Being only 7 mins it never allowed enough time for character development; we dont really understand the crew, why are they with frank? That really needed developed a bit more.
